Key role responsibilities

• in charge of the sales team USA
• developing and maintaining existing customer portfolio
• ensuring all sales targets are achieved
• building own client base
• developing trade lanes and products jointly with our network
• identification, win and obtain new customers through sales activity
• sporadically act as an intermediate with operations for issues related to services, rates and sales
• training and development of sales resources
• drive weekly/monthly sales meeting and contribute in weekly/monthly branch meetings
• conducting mutually agreed periodic business reviews with the customer and maintain close/ongoing communication with customer
• building rapport and trust with customers by being informed about customer’s business and the market
• identify and properly qualify business opportunities
• having continuous engagement with customers to maintain close relationships and ensure ongoing success
• performing all aspects of the sales process and input and update all relevant activities
• responsible for preparing and achieving an annual sales budget

Key role requirements

• bachelor’s degree in logistics, transportation, international business or equivalent
• domestic/international freight forwarding experience (3+ years) with hands-on sales
• demonstrated ability in achieving results through producing in a fast-paced environment
• develop and/or understand performance metrics to assist with driving business results
• interacting effectively at multiple levels in support of customer relationships
• proven track record in sales leading/managing international operations
• organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
• strong communication and presentation skills
• entrepreneurial spirit
• proficiency with MS Office applications
